8 WAYS TO ADD MORE FRUITS AND VEGGIES TO YOUR DIET

Have you heard of the five to nine servings of fruits and vegetables per day? And let me guess… You are struggling to reach those numbers? Do not worry! Just follow the 8 tips I am giving you below and make things easier for you and your family.


1. Wash fresh vegetables (makes it easier to grab-and-go during the day)


2. Store fresh, frozen and dried fruits in easy-to-see places in the kitchen (makes it easier

to grab-and-go during the day)


3. No candy jars in the house! Instead, place a nice bowl in the middle of the table full of washed apples, bananas, pears and other ready-to-eat fruits


4. Fight sugar cravings! Try eating fruits with yogurt instead of high-sugar snacks


5. Include a side green salad with your lunch and dinner


6. Add greens to sandwiches (spinach, avocado, peppers)


7. Cheat meal or eating out? Add veggies to your pizza!


8. Make fruit and veggies smoothies for snacks
